Let’s celebrate Oceans World Day 2024
The aim of this Learning Scenario is to use the World Ocean Day celebration to raise awareness among students about the influence of the ocean on their lives, on the planet as a whole, and about real-world problems. Students will cooperatively work in teams to develop themes related to the sea, share them and produce infographics and posters. Finally, an exhibition will be held at the school, where they will present and spread their work and will discuss further actions to protect the oceans.

In this Learning Scenario, students will come up with the design of a green wall. This Learning Scenario was developed as part of the Integrating Nature-Based Solutions in Education project, funded by the European Commission Directorate-General for Research and Innovation and coordinated by PPMI, in collaboration with European Schoolnet (EUN).

Let’s make our school a growing place!
The project constructed six green walls inside a school yard in collaboration with teachers and students. The goal is to help students understand the relevance and multiple benefits of NBS in responding to sustainability challenges the city faces, such as climate change impacts, biodiversity loss, deteriorating environmental quality.

Let’s Save our Earth! Every little bit counts
This Learning Scenario (LS) focuses on the environmental impact of our actions, including buying imported food, and explores ways to reduce emissions and carbon footprints. Students will learn about sustainability, receive insights from an engineer on sustainable building practices, and brainstorm ideas to save the Earth at the school and community levels while sharing their knowledge with others.
