Learning from practice: A compendium of case studies on GreenComp
The 12 case studies illustrate how education and training stakeholders engage with GreenComp, the European Sustainability Competence Framework. They cover all levels of education (primary and secondary education, higher education and vocational education and training and non-formal education) and provide insights and examples on how to advance competence development for sustainability based on GreenComp.

Leonardo Garden
The recultivation of two neglected, empty plots of land created one of the earliest community gardens in Hungary. Plants for consumption, spices, herbs and ornamental plants were planted. The 95 plots in the Garden were cultivated by young people, families and pensioners, but the Garden also served educational purposes, as it frequently received school groups.

Let mussels clean the oceans!
This Learning Scenario (LS) focuses on the global issue of microplastic pollution and introduces students to nature-based solutions, using mussels to counteract microplastics in the food chain. The scenario incorporates modern teaching methods, encouraging creativity and initiative as students create food chain posters and an aquatic ecosystem model.

Let’s celebrate Oceans World Day 2024
The aim of this Learning Scenario is to use the World Ocean Day celebration to raise awareness among students about the influence of the ocean on their lives, on the planet as a whole, and about real-world problems. Students will cooperatively work in teams to develop themes related to the sea, share them and produce infographics and posters. Finally, an exhibition will be held at the school, where they will present and spread their work and will discuss further actions to protect the oceans.
