In addition, the integration of interdisciplinary 21st century themes such as global awareness, financial literacy, citizenship, health and environmental literacy enhances students' understanding. To thrive in today's complex world, students need to develop learning and innovation skills, including creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration. In a technology-driven environment, they need information literacy, media literacy and ICT literacy. To succeed in life and work, students need to cultivate life and career skills such as flexibility, initiative, social skills, productivity and leadership. By integrating these elements, the P21 framework helps to engage students deeply and prepare them for a networked, digital world.

The platform offers a large number of teaching units and resources on the topic of "Natural climate protection". The teaching units consist of several parts. These include a background text in which the most important information and facts on the topic are presented. Furthermore, there are teaching suggestions for primary and secondary school. In addition, materials with worksheets for the pupils and usually a photo series are presented.
