NBS to prevent forest fires and reduce risk disasters caused by deforestation
With this Learning Scenario, students will research about forest fires and the risks associated to them, with the aim to propose nature-based solutions (NBS) to prevent them. This Learning Scenario was developed as part of the Integrating Nature-Based Solutions in Education project, funded by the European Commission Directorate-General for Research and Innovation and coordinated by PPMI, in collaboration with European Schoolnet (EUN).

Our smart garden for climate change
In this Learning Scenario (LS), students learn about the causes and effects of climate change while exploring nature-based solutions (NBS) to mitigate its impacts. They also engage in activities to raise awareness about climate change and are encouraged to communicate their knowledge and ideas through various mediums like brochures, posters, and videos. The students apply their gained knowledge by creating a smart garden in their schoolyard, aiming to reduce the school's ecological footprint.
