Integrating Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for climate action
This deck of cards features a variety of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) that can be implemented in urban areas. Through this activity, students can select an area of interest or an entire city to explore strategic interventions and financial requirements for implementing NBS. Nature-based solutions for Climate mitigation and adaptation
In this Learning Scenario, students will explore the following nature-based solutions (NBS): a school vegetable garden that will reduce greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and provide food and plants that improve students’ health and wellbeing and a green network of schools to foster student participation and action at a local level. This Learning Scenario was developed as part of the Integrating Nature-Based Solutions in Education project, funded by the European Commission Directorate-General for Research and Innovation and coordinated by PPMI, in collaboration with European Schoolnet (EUN).
