How to write a successful Erasmus+ KA1 School Education Learning Mobility funding application

Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) have the potential to tackle some of the most pressing challenges of our time, such as biodiversity loss or air pollution, whilst providing social and economic benefits. Educating students on the value of NBS is key to building a greener and better future for all. Teachers and school leaders play a central role in the provision of high-quality education for all learners and without involving and committing these professionals, no educational intervention will succeed.

Therefore, they need support throughout their careers to develop their competences and opportunities to collaborate and exchange with their peers through projects and networks across borders.

The EU Erasmus+ Programme provides financial support to schools to carry out projects promoting different types of learning mobility and including a variety of activities such as job shadowing and professional development courses for staff, individual and group mobility for pupils, and invitations to experts.

Some of the main objectives of Key Action 1 (KA1): Learning Mobility of Individuals of Erasmus+ Programme are to strengthen the European dimension of teaching and learning in school education and increase its quality, promoting the use of new technologies and innovative teaching methods, supporting the sharing and transfer of best practices in teaching and school development, and building capacity of schools to engage in cross-border exchanges and cooperation.

In this framework, the NBS EduWORLD project is organising a session on 22nd January 2024, 15.00 – 16.00 CET to support schools and teachers who focus on their professional development to take advantage of Erasmus+ Learning Mobilities.
By participating in the webinar, teachers and school principals will:

  • Learn how they can write a successful Erasmus+ KA1 application.
  • Discover useful tips on how to outline their strategy for medium- and long-term internationalization and modernization by presenting a development plan.
  • Be informed about the upcoming Summer School offered by NBS EduWORLD.
